Scissor Sharpening
All types of scissors are sharpened including kitchen, dressmaker, upholstery, pet grooming and hairdressing scissors.
Knife Sharpening
Catering for commercial kitchens, domestic cooks, hunters and enthusiasts, all knives are sharpened to a hair splitting edge.
Chainsaw Chains
All chain gauges are catered for, including steel, and tungsten tip.
Clipper Blades
The Shop Inc, and specialist designed 21-inch clipper machines are used to sharpen all types of grooming and hair clipper blades.

Sharpening Services
Scissor Sharpening
All types of scissors are sharpened and they include – kitchen, dressmaker, upholstery, all types of pet grooming scissors, and hairdressing scissors.
Scissors are dismantled, cleaned, and inspected for damage. Ride line and set is re-established before being sharpened on either a Hamaguri or profile linisher system. All scissors have pivot washers and clicker plates replaced. Bump stops and finger rests are replaced as required.
Micro serration of scissor blades also available.
Knife Sharpening
Catering for commercial kitchens, domestic cooks, hunters and enthusiasts, all knives are sharpened to a hair splitting edge.
Japanese single bevel and serrated knives are also catered for. Blades are not overheated during sharpening, and bolsters on chefs knifes are re-profiled.
Chainsaw Chains
Chainsaw sharpening is done using a high-quality Maxx machine built in Italy.
All chain gauges are catered for, including steel, and tungsten tip. Grinding of chain rakers is included in price.
Clipper Blade Sharpening
The Shop Inc. automated clipper blade sharpening machine – considered the best clipper blade sharpening machine in the world, and specialist designed 21-inch wheel clipper machine, are used to sharpen clipper blades.
Every blade is meticulously re-assembled with new glide strips after sharpening, and thoroughly tested for tension and sharpness before returning to the client. Clipper blade parts such as; springs, sockets, screws, combs, and ceramic cutters are replaced when required.
Clipper Machine Servicing
Clipper machine servicing includes dismantling, cleaning, inspection and replacement of parts if required.
Most replacement parts are carried in stock for major brands like Andis, WAHL, Heiniger and Oster, so there is minimal delay in getting your equipment back to you.
Pet Dryer Servicing
Pet Dryer servicing is also available and most brands are catered for including, but limited to – Double K, Mango, Lazor RX, and Aeolus.
Replacement parts are subject to availability.
Saw Blade Sharpening
A USA built Foley Belsaw machine is used to sharpen Tungsten Carbide Tip (TCT) saw blades, which include Flat Top Grind (FTG), Alternate Top Bevel (ATB), Combination or Triple-Chip Grind (TCD).
Quality European diamond abrasives are used for an optimum finish.
